Attention keen gardeners: on the weekend of April 16, set aside your spades and hedge trimmers and head to
Bilpin in the Blue Mountains for this year's
Collectors' Plant Fair. Fifty specialist growers from around Australia will have stalls offering unique plants not normally found in your local nursery. Whether you're looking to start a garden or add to your existing foliage there will be a large range of greenery available to suit your needs and climate.
For those after advice and inspiration, a series of talks will be given by landscape designer and horticulturist
Myles Baldwin, horticulturalist Robyn Brader, and landscape architect and host of SBS television's
Costa's Garden Odyssey, Costa Georgiadis. Bookings for the talks are essential and can be made through the
website.
Costa Georgiadis will be speaking at the event.
Throughout the weekend refreshments, plant minding, and a shuttle bus service taking patrons and plants to and from their vehicles will be available. This is the place to be if your thumbs are green.
