Put your XXXX or VB stubby aside for a moment and sample the selection of boutique beers on offer at this West End venue.
Archive Beer Boutique is a craft beer boutique and bistro located in
West End. At Archive, good beer is treated like a fine wine – it is appreciated, savoured and matched with appropriate food. Archive Beer Boutique is open Monday to Sunday from 11.00am. The bistro closes at 10.00pm.
Over the Labour Day long weekend, Archive will host the
Craft Beer Festival, which showcases the products of artisan brewers and micro-breweries. More than a dozen beer makers will provide over forty different beers to the public.
Tickets are $15.00 per person, which includes a testing cup and five free samples. Further samples are $1.00 each. The event will take place on Sunday, 1 May from 11.30am until 5.30pm.
Some of the craft brewers on display include:
Burleigh Brewing Company, a micro-brewery located on the Gold Coast,
Coopers, the popular, family owned brand from South Australia,
Bacchus Brewing, an all natural company that allows its customers to assist with the brewing process,
And the quaintly named
Little Creatures,
White Rabbit and
Mountain Goat breweries.
Only 400 tickets are available for this event, so bookings are essential. You can purchase your tickets from
Oztix or by contacting Archive Beer Boutique before 5.00pm.
