I took my children to experience the Explore-a-saurus exhibition at Melbourne's Scienceworks over the weekend and they loved it. If they were writing this review, it would be peppered with the words awesome, fantastic, excellent and wow!
How else could one describe the giant animatronic dinosaur models that actually move their heads, tails, eyes and mouths?
Scienceworks never fails to deliver an interactive, fun and educational exhibition for kids of all ages. This is no exception. Aspiring paleontologists can spend time in the purpose built sandpit digging for fossils, touch dinosaur poo, look inside a dinosaur's tummy and recreate the sounds of dinosaurs.
The exhibition has been developed by Scienceworks to demonstrate how palaeontologists use fossil evidence to learn how dinosaurs lived; from what they ate and how fast they ran, to what colour they may have been and even how they cared for their young.
