With burlesque performances and fashion parades, the launch of Red Dusk Designs looks to be as elegant, alternative and cheeky as their fashion.
The event promises "non-stop entertainment" including Mexican Wrestlers from
Lucha Royale, burlesque performances from the
Lady Velvet cabaret, two fashion parades, male strips from
Topshelf Entertainment, and striptease and pole dancing from the resident Voodoo Dolls. The weather is no excuse to stay in chain drinking cup-a-soup, Thursday night at the Voodoo Lounge sounds hotter than your electric blanket.
In case all the action hadn't inspired you enough to dress in your burlesque or vintage best, there will be roaming professional photographers and the best dressed will win a studio fitting for a steel boned corset.

There will be a Red Dusk design stall at the event. Red Dusk offer a variety of custom, rare and original handmade pieces, from corsets and clothing to accessories and jewellery for women and men.
Designer Jolieske Loosjes runs Red Dusk from her North Perth Studio, through Red Dusk's
online boutique and
facebook.
The launch starts at 9.30pm at the The Voodoo Lounge, upstairs at 174 James St Perth. The venue is just a short walk from the train station and as it is a Thursday night there might even be parking spots around.
The event is $10 on the door or just $5 if you are quick to join their
mailing list. Have a look at the event on
facebook for more details and start planning your prize winning outfit.
