Have you ever been even a little bit interested in photography?
Or in community art projects?
If you answered yes to any of the above questions then you might want to consider joining in with the

Show us the aftermath – Maciej DakowiczIt's being run as a collaboration between
The Photographers' Gallery, London and the authors of the book
Street Photography Now, Stephen McLaren and Sophie Howarth. The project started in October 2010, but it's running until October 2011, and you really can get involved at any point along the way.
It's not supposed to be a competition, more of a community, with people commenting on the other images submitted in a productive way and getting dialogue going about the world's many different street scenes. However there is going to be a prize awarded for an outstanding contribution to the project, which will be £1000 worth of book vouchers and the opportunity to have your work displayed at The Photographers' Gallery.
