Boogie on down at Swingin' Soul
McGuiness is the brainchild behind Little Egypts Burlesque; the musical troupe pays tribute to the sounds of the black underground 50's music. Inspired by the music of
The Coasters and The Robins from a time when the music charts were segregated by black and white yet today are rearranged with a contemporary edge.
The band leader is a master trombonist and composer who dabbles in funk, jazz and soul. His repertoire can be heard in acts ranging from the
Jazzgroove Mothership Orchestra to the Crusty Suitcase Band and his own group
My Goodness, McGuiness!

The ensemble comes complete with burlesque belly dancers inspired by the
Little Egypt act of the 1890's, who first brought the "danse du ventre" to the US.
