Sydney Royal Easter show is back in April 2012. It is held at Sydney Olympic Park each year for 2 weeks and is filled with events, activities, competitions, food and fun. In 2012, the Sydney Royal Royal Easter show will be held between April 5 and April 18. The tickets are on sale till March 20th. Any purchase before that invites a small discount.

A good way to plan a day there is to get in early (use public transport if you can ) and map out a plan for the day with the free maps and planners available on entry. The showlink tickets include public transport on the day of the show, so make use of the same if you can.
There are many displays to see and admire including the cake display, horticulture display and flower arrangement display. Shopping options are available in plenty. Many display pavilions are accompanied by shops that sell the goods on display. So make sure you grab your card/cash when you go there.
If you are wondering what not to miss at the Easter show, I would say the carnival rides. There is so much to choose from that you will be spoilt for choice.
