Taylor Swift. The girl that every girl wants as her best friend, and every guy wants to marry.

Some might say Miss Swift lives somewhat of a fairytale. At such a young age, this American singer-songwriter hit the big time, showing those school bullies just who they were messing with.

Before fame and fortune, Taylor was a victim of bullying, and wrote songs to express her emotions. It was her creative outlet to help her with the pain of not fitting in. And in doing so, won the hearts of people all over the world.

I for one, have a soft spot for her, and will for sure be attending. I'm not often one to buy in to today's 'pop' genre of music, but her country twang and mature honest writing really does something to me. Sometimes I smile a little, sometimes I jig. Whatever it may be, she hit's a spot, she's super talented, she was born to write and sing, and I just like her.

In response to fan demand in Australia, and rightly so, Taylor Swift has announced that she will be extending her tour in to 2012, in order to include Australia and also New Zealand.

And the show is said to be something pretty elaborate, with aerialists, changing sets and a multi-level stage. Ka-pow.

So it should be though. Taylor Swift is a FOUR time Grammy winner, and her album 'Speak Now' is a number 1, double platinum album. And that's following her FIVE time platinum album 'Fearless'. So with album sales in Australia alone hitting an excess of 600,000, the show is sure to mimic it. Huge.

Expect this young star to be, as she should be, the star of the stage in the city she will be playing in for you. There won't be none of that Kanye business happening. Not here. You know, the MTV 'incident' which possibly rocked Taylor in to even more of a phenomenon than she already was, whilst pushing Kanye's likeability factor further south. As it should be.

In 2009, whilst Taylor was on stage, in front of not only the attending audience, but the WORLD, singer slash rapper slash long time imbecile, Kanye West came on stage, stole the microphone from her, and announced that Beyonce (who was nominated for the same award) should have received the award. Stunned and of course upset, Taylor never finished her speech and left the stage.

Later in the evening when Beyonce won an award, she called Taylor up on stage to finish her speech. Honestly Kanye, your music is unbelievable, it upsets me that you could be such a horrible and selfish human. Shame on you.

So, not only is Taylor Swift completely likeable, I mean LOVEABLE right now, she can also act. Jealous. And appeared in the film 'Valentines Day', her feature film acting début alongside stars such as Ashton Kutcher and Jessica Alba.

As already mentioned, Taylor writes all her own songs. She has previously said that she only likes to write songs that people can feel and relate to. Which is why, I suppose she bases them mostly on experiences. And as a 23 year old, of course many of her personal experiences are with the opposite sex.

With singles like Fifteen, Speak Now and Back to December, Taylor Swift showcases just how talented she is with the written word, and construction of music.

If she's huge now, just imagine how big she is going to be in another ten years when she really knows the ins and outs of the industry.

Taylor Swift is one to watch. And you can. So catch her in your city. I imagine you won't be disappointed.
