New York City residents are probably already slightly aware of how eclectic and unique the Greenwich Village and East Village areas are, but everyone—residents and out-of-towners alike—can discover this all over again on Saturday, June 11, 2011, at the
Annual Village Fair.
The Fair will be held on at Astor Place, located on Broadway, from Houston to Grand Street, and will feature exhibits including arts and crafts and antiques, as well as others. You will also have a chance to sample different types of ethnic food.
Entertainment will be provided by street performers, so there's no telling what sort of show or performance you might see. After all, we are talking about Greenwich Village and East Village. You can be fairly certain you'll see things you probably won't see anywhere else, but then that's part of the fun of the Annual Village Fair. So, make sure you don't miss out on this fun way to spend a Saturday in New York City.
