For the entire month of July, the
iTunes Festival will be taking over the glorious
Roundhouse venue in Camden, filling it with performances by more than 60 artists over 31 nights.
The best thing about this musical extravaganza? Tickets are free. To get hold of one (actually it'll be a pair), you'll have to choose the act you want to see and
enter a draw.
Once a fortnight, starting on the 6th of May, names will be drawn from a hat and winners notified.
The iTunes Festival kicks off with one of the all-time greats, Paul Simon (1st July).
Others artists appearing in the first week alone include Welsh legends Manic Street Preachers (3rd July), Californian rockers Linkin Park (4th July), and the awesome Adele (7th July). Many of you will have been blown away by her powerful performance at the recent Brit Awards where she sang her latest hit,
Someone Like You.
Over the next three weeks Dave Grohl's Foo Fighters will be performing on the 11th of July; Brit old-timers Duran Duran (c'mon, they've been going since 1978) will be strutting their stuff on the 16th; and Scottish post-rockers Mogwai will be providing the entertainment on the 23rd.

Other stuff at the festival includes a special Studio Sessions feature taking place in the afternoons throughout the month, where you'll have the chance to enjoy many spoken word events from top selling authors.
There's really no better venue for an event like this – the Roundhouse is a fabulously unique music arena that's hosted the likes of Hendrix, The Doors, Led Zeppelin and T-Rex since it first opened its doors back in the mid-sixties.
So don't waste any time – go enter your name into the draw now!
