The London Coffee Festival will be returning again between 27 and 29 April. No longer do we drink frothy coffee from Pyrex cups, but we're all connoisseurs these days. It doesn't matter whether your favourite tipple is cappuccino, latte, espresso, flat white or just an Americano or a filter coffee, you will be able to sample the whole coffee caboodle at the old Truman Brewery in Brick Lane. It gives an entirely new meaning to brewing up, especially as there will also be opportunities to try tea and chomp on chocolate.

The Festival will be divided into various areas, including Hyde Park, Shoreditch, Soho and the Showroom. These locations will all be themed so that you will be able to wander through them, sampling coffee and tea, and eating artisan and street foods. You will come away from your visit with a little more knowledge about the processes involved in growing and roasting coffee. You will learn from the baristas, who will also be competing in championships, and you'll get an opportunity to test drive the latest coffee making machines.

The Coffee Festival opens to the public at 5pm on 27 April and stays open until 10pm with coffee, cocktails and live music. The following two days will each be divided into three specific sessions: brunch between 10am and 1pm, lunch between 1pm and 4pm and teatime between 4pm and 7pm. Ticket prices will vary between £9.50 in advance and £12.50 on the door, and will cover all the available food and drink samples, and musical entertainment. You will also be helping a worthy cause as 50% of the proceeds will be donated to Project Waterfall for providing safe drinking water in coffee-producing regions of Africa.
The Old Truman Brewery is a short walk from Liverpool Street and Aldgate tube stations and can be reached by many bus routes from south and east London, the West End and the City.
