Getting motivated to exercise can be hard sometimes. What if you could receive free lessons in a pleasant, waterfront location?
This April and May, take advantage of free fitness classes at
South Bank. The
Vaalia Yoghurt Feel Good Program provides classes to the residents of Brisbane. The Riverside Green and the Boat Pool will be the hosting locations for this program.
Mind and Movement classes combine yoga, Pilates and tai chi exercises. Participants will receive a holistic work out that will increase flexibility, strength and balance and also aims to improve mental well being. These classes are set up by the Brisbane River for a soothing waterfront experience and occur on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5.30pm.
Get fit and stay cool with an
aqua aerobics class. The low impact class aims to burn calories and build strength, while also presenting an easy and fun way of exercising. Aqua aerobics takes place on Saturdays from 9.30am at the Boat Pool.
New mothers don't need to worry about a baby-sitter with
Mummy and Me Yoga classes. Babies from twelve weeks to crawling age are welcome to join mum as she tones and strengthens her body. Yoga classes run on Tuesdays from 9.30am.
All participants receive a free yoghurt at the end of their class.
This program takes place between 2 April and 26 May. Bookings are not necessary – just show up at the designated spot on the designated time. Visit the South Bank website for more information.
